The School of ITEE is UQ's provider of studies in information technology, information environments, multimedia design and various streams of engineering. Around half of the University's engineering students enrol in ITEE courses in the areas of electrical, communications, mechatronic, computer systems, software and biomedical imaging. This year, more than 2,500 students are enrolled as undergraduates in ITEE.
We like to ensure our students are well-prepared for life after university. That's why we continuously upgrade our programs, our computing and laboratory infrastructure and our teaching and learning techniques. We've introduced new dual degrees so that you can take engineering or IT with a variety of programs in other faculties. We like to encourage students to get work experience in industry while they are with us. Our bachelor degree programs offer you the chance to get experience that looks good on a resumé. Most of our programs are accredited with the leading Australian professional associations, Engineers Australia and the Australian Computer Society.
