A visit to the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory will allow students to gain hands-on experience and measure the signals from their heart (electrocardiogram), the oxygen content of their blood (pulse oximetry) and make image of some their internal organs using an ultrasound imaging machine.
All demonstrations are hands-on and safe.
