Scavenger Hunt
A scavenger hunt iPhone application that uses the built in GPS and
Internet capabilities of the device to allow users to participate in
and create area wide scavenger hunts. The application confirms
locations using the GPS data and provides clues, rules, and
photographs while recording achievements. It allows users to both
create and participate in scavenger hunts on the fly.

Narrative through Music
It's a music video clip set to the song Hysteria by Muse. It's a love story, a man has just come across a beautiful woman, and it was love at first sight. This video is about his extraordinary journey to be with the woman he loves. With live action footage mixed with dynamic visual effects, this story has a high level of emotion which fits perfectly to Muse's epic song, Hysteria.

iMage Table
We have developed an educational tool for prep school children to
facilitate recognition of the sounds of letters and numbers. The tool
also helps children see how two numbers are added together. The concept
is to merge the physical and virtual worlds by having real tangible
plastic numbers and letters that children can easily identify with and
turning these into triggers of graphical animations onto a flat table
surface. This table is designed so that children are able to learn from
it independently at their own time and leisure.
The project explores
ways in which children interact with technology and how it can be used
to supplement their basic alphabet and numeracy skills by repetitive play.

familiar with computer technologies.

Sports Central
We are creating a Sports E-Commerce Website which is intended to
provide alternate means of online shopping. This involves researching
aspects of the shopping experience not yet considered in an online
environment. By focusing on the interaction between users and their
shopping environment, we introduce new features such as virtual shopping
assistants, live news feeds and various other social aspects. The aim of
such a website is to get the user involved with the sports theme, rather
than be focused simply on buying.

AussieProm.com eMagazine
My project is an interactive online magazine, designed for the company Aussieprom.com, an online nation wide formal directory. My design interests have always been very graphic based, and my career goal is to eventually work for a high end magazine such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. I've chosen to create this online magazine for my assignment so that I could experience what it's like working in my desired field, and also have appropriate designs for my portfolio.
I pitched the idea as a way to increase the sites numbers, reach more people, and create better interactivity. The existing site is very useful but also very text based - and there is nothing to suggest what each store stocked other than a few words on a page. I proposed that by using images in this interactive magazine, it would be easier to captivate the audience and achieve more click throughs for the clients. We also decided to include formal advice, and other fun things to create a magazine feeling, and give people an insight into the website.
As well as the interactive magazine being a web tool, which would be emailed out to the aussieprom.com members mailing list, it would also be included on the website for people to browse, and is also becoming a physical magazine to be distributed across Australia in the 2009 Cosmopolitan magazine show bags.

In an ironic twist of fate, when it came to buying his dream beach front mansion, he himself was tricked into buying the property in a sector that only ever rained. After hunting down those responsible, he donated the mansion to the tournament.
