 IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE FIELD OF STUDY

A comprehensive understanding of the current state of the art of information technology, including a thorough appreciation of programming in high-level languages, of creating and using information systems and computer systems, and of the technical aspects of computer science.

A thorough understanding of how information technology interacts with society at large, and the effects on society of this interaction.

The ability to understand with depth and accuracy the impact of information technology within an organisation.

A detailed appreciation of the impact of information technology on the global scale.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

A clear ability to research, collect, analyse, and organise information and ideas effectively in written form.

An ability to analyse and present information and ideas effectively in oral form.

The ability to argue persuasively, based on a solid research and/or analytical foundation.
