The University of Queensland and the School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering are proud to state the outcomes we expect our students to have achieved by virtue of having completed their programs to graduation.

The statement of Graduate Attributes for each of the programs listed at left is based on a UQ description of a set of dispositions that are applicable beyond the specific disciplinary context in which students develop them.   Different sets apply to undergraduate, honours and postgraduate study levels.

The core attributes reflect and build upon the culture of inquiry and innovation that is part of a research university, as well as embedding the need to exhibit effective interpersonal skills and a broad understanding of social and ethical responsibilities.

Each program's statement is tailored additionally to reflect any specific professional competencies required.
