Why do an ME?
The fields of Engineering related to information & communications technology and electrical/electronics technology underpin much of human endeavour in today's world. The technology permeates and enhances every aspect of our lives, both at work and play.
The engineering industry in Queensland is well-established, yet experiencing strong growth over recent years. Emerging areas include electricity asset management and marketing, power generation, e-security, e-health, biotechnology and aerospace engineering. Worldwide advances in telecommunications and so-called complex systems call for technically-qualified personnel who also have a combination of business, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
The excellent career prospects of qualified engineers can be enhanced through graduate studies that add value to existing qualifications and experience. Returning to study can not only bring you up to speed with the latest developments, but can open your eyes to new ways of looking at things.
