1 Who is my Academic Advisor?
To find out who your Academic Advisor is you should:
If you are a BInfTech, BSc or BA student go to the ITEE office to find out who is rostered for that day;
If you are a BE student year advisor information can be found at BE Year Advisors.
2 How do I get approval to take a free elective within the Bachelor of Engineering?
To get approval to enrol in a course as a free elective you need to complete the approval form (MS Word .doc).
Information on what courses will be approved can be found at: BE Free Electives.
3 Where can I get an Assignment Cover Sheet?
To download an Assignment Cover Sheet or find out information on electronically submitting your assignment go to assignments via the ITEE Student Help page.
4 Where are the Assignment boxes?
Assignment boxes are located on Level 1 of the General Purpose South Building.
5 Can I submit my assignment electronically?
Information about submitting your assignment electronically can be found at assignments.
6 What do I do if I have a timetable clash?
If you have a timetable clash you should email all details of the courses involved and your student number to office@itee.uq.edu.au.
Changes are considered where the proposed changes provide the greatest good to the majority of the total enrolment of both courses affected.
7 Can I make an appointment to see an academic?
The ITEE Office is not able to make an appointment for you with an academic. You should phone or email the academic you wish to meet with and arrange a time with them directly.
8 I want to find an academic – where will I find their contact details?
Information about the contact details of any ITEE staff member can be found at: Staff Search.
